Matcha is a form of green tea made from ground green tea leaves. Regular green tea is made by steeping the leaves in hot water and they are then discarded. Matcha tea is made by grinding the dried leaves into powder, mixing it into the liquid and then it is consumed. Matcha tea has a unique taste and is vibrant green and known as one of the lost aromatic teas!
