Spring time Recipes

You may still be shaking off those old winter blues, but Spring has sprung! That means blooming flora, singing fauna, and basking in the sunshine -- but it can also mean allergies, inflammation, and facing the reality of getting your body beach ready! Getting in shape for summer doesn’t have to be a struggle though. Skinny Bunny is here with all the support you need to get going. 


Let’s begin with a Springtime Celebration Smoothie! This is the perfect breakfast to get you going for the day while aiding your detox -- plus this recipe includes some awesome in-season fruit and veg for immune support! 

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups of brewed Skinny Bunny Weight Loss AM Tea
    (we like flavors like lemon, tropical chamomile, or mint for this recipe)
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ a mango
  • 1 handful of collard greens (or spinach)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • Ice - to taste

Brew tea as directed and let cool. Then simply blend all ingredients together in a blender. Depending on your preference, you may want to add more ice or more liquid until desired consistency is reached. For a creamier texture, you can also add banana or almond milk.


This smoothie is full of fiber and protein to keep you satisfied all morning. Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brewed Skinny Bunny Detox PM Tea
    (Try this recipe with Vanilla Chai or Pumpkin Spice flavors)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • Sweetener of choice (i.e. maple syrup, honey, coconut sugar, or stevia to taste)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Brew tea as directed and set aside. Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan, stirring occasionally over medium-low heat until incorporated and hot but not boiling. Add milk mixture to tea, stir, and enjoy!
